Abstract

This article surveys the research and development in optics being carried out at RPI. It covers optical design, the design of complete lens systems, fibre optics, and new methods of manufacture and optical testing. ‘Optical developments at RPI’, was the subject of an Optical Group meeting of the IPPS, held on October 29th.
