Method: Survey study conducted in four ICUs of tertiary university hospitals in São Paulo. Sociodemographic data was used along with the and ProQOL-BR tool. Results: There was a statistically relevant association between Secondary Traumatic Stress and gender ( p = 0.03) and between Compassion Satisfaction, Burnout and Secondary Traumatic Stress ( p < 0.01; p = 0.002).
