In this study, the elderly were taken as research objects and 36 elderly people were interviewed offline. In addition, a focus group analysis was carried out by a team of 6 experts to calculate the accessibility matrix and establish a structural interpretation model for the influencing factors of intelligent product design for the elderly by adopting the interpreted structural model (ISM) method. The model shows that emotional attitude is the surface factor affecting the design of intelligent products for the elderly. Human-computer interaction experience and support of social institutions are in the middle layer. The underlying factors are policies, regulations and product modeling. The factors are further related to each other. Abstract
