In other words, the use of this external load combined with epoxy resin was an important element in concrete reconstruction and reinforcement. Another interesting point was the issue of the high fiber rigidity observed in the AFM, allowing an excellent interaction with the resin in the coating of the specimen. Abstract

In this study, it was possible to evidence the efficiency of the use of carbon fiber coating in concrete structures and its application to promote the protection and maintenance of these materials, seeking to prolong the useful life of this type of structure.
