Abstract
A study was made on the estimating methods of the characteristics of over-based sulfurized calcium phenates containing about 150 to 1,000% of the theoretical amount of calcium which was prepared from p-octylphenol, calcium oxide, elemental su fur, ethylene glycol, carbon dioxide, lauryl alcohol and oil as starting materials.
