Titanlax – medical device profile

Abstract

Summary: Constipation is a very common disease, usually solved by self-medication. There is a considerable number of drugs and medical devices on the market with diff erent compositions and mechanisms of action, while not all of them are suitable for long-term use. The composition of the medical device Titanlax (macrogol [PEG], psyllium, simethicone) refl ects the positions of the Society of General Medicine expressed in the Recommended Practices and combines dietary measures and active substances of fi rst choice, i.e. psyllium, PEG and simethicone, and is suitable for long-term use.
