Abstract:Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez explains important initiatives at the federal level that would benefit historic preservation. She is spearheading an effort to permanently authorize the Historic Preservation Fund and double its reauthorization of appropriations level to $300 million for each fiscal year. Additionally, the Build Back Better draft included improved funding for historic preservation.
