Abstract

The National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery is one of the great Institutions of the health sector, which has been and is a source of pride for the country and I want to emphasize that the creation of this Institute was due to a great character in world Neurosurgery, the teacher Don Manuel Velasco Suárez; It is very important to know that this institution was conceived and created last century and inaugurated in 1964 to be a unique work in the world, since with the great visionary mind of Don Manuel, I place in the same physical space the three great branches of Neurosciences: Neurosurgery, Neurology and Psychiatry, which did not exist.
