Abstract

An overview of the causes of lithium-ion battery fires, what types of extinguishing agents are used when a fire occurs, and how to effectively prevent fires from occurring. It describes in detail the potential factors required for lithium-ion battery fires and related real-world cases, the advantages and disadvantages of various extinguishing agents and whether they can be used in automobiles, and the lithium-ion battery safety systems that have been designed and how they work.
