Measurements for overweight and obesity, this study uses the BMI and waist circumference methods. Fisher's exact test with SPSS v.25 was used for data analysis. Results: Results from data analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between overweight and obesity based on the BMI method on LUTS, p = 0.122. The results also showed a significant relationship between central obesity and LUTS, p = 0.003. Conclusion: Central obesity can be identified as a risk factor for LUTS while overweight and obesity based on the BMI method cannot be considered as a risk factor. Abstract

ABSTRACT Objective: The purpose of this study is to find the relation between overweight and obesity with lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia in pre-elderly. 老年前期良性前列腺增生引起的下尿路症状(luts)与超重和肥胖的关系的初步研究

【摘要】目的:探讨老年前期良性前列腺增生所致超重与肥胖与下尿路症状的关系。材料与方法:本分析研究以横断面方式对113名受访者进行。LUTS评估使用国际前列腺症状评分问卷。测量超重和肥胖，这项研究使用BMI和腰围的方法。数据分析采用SPSS v.25 Fisher精确检验。结果:数据分析结果显示，基于LUTS的BMI方法，超重与肥胖之间无显著相关性，p = 0.122。结果还显示中心性肥胖与LUTS之间存在显著关系，p = 0.003。结论:中心性肥胖可被确定为LUTS的危险因素，而基于BMI方法的超重和肥胖不能被认为是LUTS的危险因素。这些结果可以作为老年前教育，以减少前列腺增生引起LUTS的风险。关键词:超重，肥胖，下尿路症状，良性前列腺增生，老年前期。
