But based on existing virtualization technologies, a virtual machine can only utilize computing resources on one physical host, which results in fewer computing resources and low computing performance and cannot meet the high-performance computing needs such as artificial intelligence. In this paper, a PCIe cluster based device recompose and resource sharing algorithm is proposed, which enables virtual machines to use the entire cluster’s computing devices in need via PCIe bus. Abstract
Virtual machine has become the foundation of cloud computing with its flexibility and manageability in resource allocation.
