Abstract
LoRa is a new standard for long range, low power wireless communication. In this paper, the question of whether the LoRa physical layer could find applications in the wired power line channel is investigated. A model of the LoRa physical layer is developed and a range of simulations are performed using frequency dependent models within the ATP-EMTP.
