The influence of the nanometer additive on discharge storage capacity of the electrode is studied and the electrochemical property of hydride electrode is investigated. Galvanostatic tests indicate that the nanometer additive incorporated electrode exhibits better high rate discharge capability, superior charge acceptance ability and longer cycle life compared with the blank electrode.
