Three-color spectroscopic terahertz images as an indicator for diabetic foot syndrome deterioration

Abstract

In this paper we present three-color images of the foot soles of diabetic and non-diabetic subjects. Each color represents the hydration degree of the skin within value bands that statistically separate control and diabetic patients.
