Therefore, this paper presents the design and development of wireless PPG based health monitoring device via Bluetooth sensor. The main objectives of this research are focusing on both establishing the hardware and software for a complete system. The further analysis will be done based on full hardware and software architecture for developing and designing a complete device for wireless PPG based health monitoring application. Abstract

The instantaneous development of medical technology keeps on expanding every year. One of the crucial devices used in most hospitals is health-monitoring device. However, in critical situation such as in ambulatory services, which involve a lot of physical movement, using wired devices such as electrocardiogram (ECG) machine or photoplethysmography (PPG) signal acquisition device may seem to be quite burdensome.
