Compared with the other three grass beds, the breakdown voltage of Agropyron cristatum $(L.)$ Gaertn. bed was the smallest. The lightning critical ignition energy of Medicago sativa. bed was the smallest. Abstract

Lightning fire is an important causes of forest fire. With the global warming, lightning fire tends to increase. In this paper, the characteristics of a lightning strike wood were investigated.
