Abstract

On the basis of mathematical modeling methods, an effective approach to the problem of determining the spread of the oil slick formed in the event of a possible accident in the conditions of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian sea is proposed. With the help of the CARDINAL software package(SP), a mathematical model of oil distribution in case of emergency spills in the Northern Caspian has been developed.
