Eksplorasi Tumbuhan Survival di Rainforest Lodge Kedah, Desa Penosan Sepakat, Kecamatan Blangjerango, Kabupaten Gayo Lues

Abstract

Abstrak.Kemampuan untuk bertahan hidup di alam bebas sangat dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh kemampuan mengenal tumbuhan yang dapat dimakan dalam keadaan darurat (Survival foods). Tumbuhan survival dapat dimanfaatkan oleh manusiakhususnya pecinta alam yang sedang melaksanakan pendakian jika kehabisan bahan makanan.Komunitas pecinta alam memiliki banyak pengetahuan tentang pendakian, seperti bagaimana merencanakan pendakian, bahaya apa yang akan terjadi, dan bagaimana menghadapinya agar dapat mendaki dengan aman dan lancar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan survival, mendapatkan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) dan keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan survivalyang terdapat di Rainforest Lodge Kedah Desa Penosan Sepakat, Kecamatan Blangjerango Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Pengamatan tumbuhan survival dilakukan dengan cara berjalan dengan salah seorang pendaki yang berpegalaman pada jalur pendakian dan plot di ketinggian 1.300-1.400 m dpl, 1.400-1.500 m dpl, 1.500-1.600 m dpl setiap jalur dibuat plot berbentuk vertical dengan panjang 100 m dan lebar 5 m kanan dan 5 m kiri (total lebar 10 meter). Jarak untuk ketinggian yaitu 100 m dpl.Hasil pengamatan dari tiga ketinggian terdapat 24  jenis tumbuhan survival yang terdiri dari 14 familia. Tumbuhan survival dari familia Arecaceae memiliki jenis terbanyak yaitu 6 jenis tumbuhan, familia Moraceae 4 jenis ,familia Myrtaceae dan Zingiberaceae terdapat 2 jenis tumbuhan dan  jenis tumbuhan survival familia Myristicaceae, Salicaceae, Poaceae, Athyriaceae, Begoniaceae, Anacardiaceae, Rosaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Cluciaceaedan Phyllathaceae masing-masing terdapat 1 jenis tumbuhan Kata kunci :Familia, Tumbuhan Survival , Rainforester Lodge Kedah.  Abstract. The ability to survive in the wild is strongly influenced by, among other things, the ability to recognize plants that can be eaten in an emergency (survival foods). Survival plants can be used by humans, especially nature lovers who are climbing if they run out of food. The nature lover community has a lot of knowledge about climbing, such as how to plan a hike, what hazards will occur, and how to deal with them so that they can climb safely and smoothly. The purpose of this study was to determine survival plant species, obtain an Important Value Index (IVI) and diversity index of survival plant species found in the Rainforest Lodge Kedah, Penosan Sepakat Village, Blangjerango District, Gayo Lues Regency. Observation of survival plants was carried out by walking with one experienced climber on climbing routes and research plots. Along the observation path at each altitude, 1 transect was made each at an altitude of 1,300 -1,400 m asl, 1,400 -1,500 m asl, 1,500 -1,600 m asl, each route was made a vertical plot with 100 m long and 5 m wide on the left and 5 m on the right (total width of 10 meters), the distance for the height is 100 meters above sea level. Based on observations from three altitudes, there were 24 species of survival plants consisting of 14 families. Survival plants from the Arecaceae family had the most species, namely 6 species, Moraceae family 4 species, Myrtaceae family 2 species and the remaining families Myristicaceae, Salicaceae, Poaceae, Athyriaceae, Begoniaceae, Anacardiaceae, Rosaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Cluciaceae, and Phyllathaceae each with only 1 species.  Keywords: Family, Plant Survival, Rainforester Lodge Kedah
