Aristotle:on Friendship

Abstract

Aristotle′s theory on friendship is the most important part of his ethics.Aristotle considers that friendship is the necessary virture for living,with commonality as its foundation.He stresses that friends should live togather.It′s impossible for one to have more than one friend.A friend is another oneself,in a word,the love to a friend is the love one to himself.It′s reasonable for us to belive that Aristotle ′s ideas about friendship can help to promote the traditional morality ethics of Aristotle to be reborn in a way.
