Abstract

Neurosurgery is common place in Wellington Regional Hospital. The occurrence of a pressure injury to the head is uncommon. The organization and national health strategy may have various assessment tools for prevention and management of pressure injuOn behalf of the Executive of the Australasian Neuroscience Nurses’ Association (ANNA) it our pleasure to welcome our delegates and presenters to our first online conference. 2020 has brought with it many challenges and the ANNA conference has been just one of many that has had to move to an online platform. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors (CORTRAK* 2 and Oral 7) for their help in making the 2020 conference happen. We would also like to take a moment to thank and appreciate all of our nursing colleagues in this 2020 ‘The International Year of the Nurses’ we have faced the biggest challenge to face modern health care in our lifetime.
