And the viscosity of grafting epoxy was lower than the original epoxy resin, which facilitated the casting process of the high frequency power transformer. Abstract

In this manuscript, the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DEGBA) type epoxy resin was modified with methoxy-polyethylene glycol (mPEG-550). The impact toughness of the epoxy materials was effectively increased with the adding of grafting epoxy. Meanwhile, the addition of grafting epoxy can improve the cracking resistance property of the epoxy materials.
