The study recommends a collaboration of scholars to aid in converging the existing and the emergent knowledge for beneficial application in the field since different stakeholders are involved in the field. Abstract

Forensic technologies have improved in recent years improving the sensitivity and strength of the investigative potential of forensic scientists. Further, the rules and guidelines for conducting digital forensic investigations have evolved over time. This article examined the different technologies applied in the field.
