A Framework for Enterprise Resource Planning Systems in the United Arab Emirates

Abstract

This paper is a culmination of studies emanating from a research into successful Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The paper first examines some relevant literature in the area of ERP in general. Thereafter, the paper identifies the effects of various key performance indicators (KPIs) on the implementation processes of ERP systems in the UAE. The results of the research indicate that various KPIs have direct influence on the successful outcome or otherwise of an ERP system in the UAE.
