Abstract

Scott is 12 years old and in the process of transitioning from elementary to middle school. He is totally blind due to retinoblastoma (cancer of the eye) in both eyes at the age of 5. He has been receiving services from a teacher of students with visual impairments and an orientation and mobility specialist. Scott's family moved into a new school district over the summer.
