Performance de herbicidas na dessecação pré-colheita de cultivares de soja

Abstract

: Background : Pre-harvest desiccation has become common in systems grown with soybeans, mainly by the need to harvest anticipation for grains or seeds. However, there are few herbicides registered for this practice, and may present different results according to the culture region of the crop. Objective : In view of this, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of the application of desiccant herbicides on the agronomic characteristics and the physiological quality of soybean seeds in two important soybean producing regions of Brazil. Methods : The experiments were conducted in Rio Verde, Goiás and Maringá, Paraná.
