In this study, by using the SCCBC, we had tried to stain the very high molecular weight PE fi ber that is known to be the most dif fi cult product with respect to modifying the surface property, not only chemically but also physically. From the results, the high molecular weight PE fi ber can be dyed by using the SCCBC and it had shown very high durability.
