The paper considers various technological and innovative solutions aimed at increasing the capacity and carrying capacity of railway lines, including an assessment of the effectiveness of using mobile block sections and virtual couplings in conditions of limited capacity of railway directions. Abstract

In the modern period, the railway industry faces the challenges of both intensifying the use of existing lines and developing new high-speed transport systems. The lack of capacity reserves for railway lines leads to the abandonment of freight trains, which in turn complicate the management of train traffic.
