Abstract

Anesthesiologists and sedationists often use propofol as the main anesthetic agent for brief procedures, such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy with biopsy for eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). Pediatric patients presenting for endoscopy often have a history of reflux as well as drug and food allergies.
