At the same time, the roughness of the central electrode and the surrounding metal shell after sandblasting is greater than that before sandblasting, and the surface after sandblasting was coarsened. Abstract

Aiming at the fault of carbon deposition in spark plug of a certain aircraft engine, the sand blasting cleaning technology was proposed. The sand blasting to remove the carbon deposition in spark plug was carried out and the test results were analyzed. The test results show that the surface color of the spark plug after sandblasting is changed from black gray to bright gray, the resistance value of the central electrode was reduced by 120 and 134Ω, and the central electrode is converted from non-conductive to conductive. At the same time, the roughness of the central electrode and the surrounding metal shell after sandblasting is greater than that before sandblasting, and the surface after sandblasting was coarsened. 某型航空发动机火花塞积碳清洗修复技术研究
