Abstract

In this manuscript, to determine resorcinol (RES) in pure and pharmaceutical forms, we developed a simple colorimetric method based on the formation of environmentally friendly silver nanoparticles (oxidizing agent). The electron cloud formed silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in an alkaline medium and then reacted (RES) in the presence of Polyvinylpyrrolidone as a stabilizer in nanometer dimensions.
