Abstract

The article presents a critical approach to the worldview the universal competences of the IV Federal State Educational Standard is based on. It is shown that this approach is shaped by the content of the competencies themselves. The constant changeability of society and the awareness of the urgency call for the use of the dialectical-materialist method. Based on the realities of the educational space, which cannot currently be reformed on the basis of the dialectical-materialist method, we examine ways to use dialectical-materialist method of thinking of students to understand the relationship of universal competencies. In addition we proposed to strengthen interdisciplinary connections. The current state of the sphere of higher education allows, with certain organizational efforts, to achieve positive results.
