The article is devoted to the study of the philosophical anthropology of the outstanding Russian religious thinker Viktor Ivanovich Nesmelov, who lived at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. The philosopher in his works \"The Science of Man\" and \"Faith and Knowledge from the Point of View of Epistemology\" attempted to create an epistemological concept based on the Christian worldview. He considers questions of the correlation of faith and knowledge, proves the reasonableness of faith. V.I. Nesmelov comes to the conclusion that faith is not something separate from knowledge, these are different aspects of a single process of cognition. Studying faith, the Kazan professor did not avoid extremes, like his contemporary Lev Shestov. Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the concept of rationalization of faith in the philosophical anthropology of Viktor Ivanovich Nesmelov. The article is devoted to the study of the philosophical anthropology of the outstanding Russian religious thinker Viktor Ivanovich Nesmelov, who lived at the turn of the 19th–20th centuries.
