THE POWER OF PRAYER AND DIALOGUE IN GANDHIAN PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICS

Abstract

Gandhian philosophy and politics were not only a response to the crises of his own times, but it was also simultaneously flagging the future crises of our times. What Gandhi saw as a danger for the future is now our present. This article revisits the Mahatma’s message about a politics revolving around morality and accommodation, prayer and dialogue as a way out of our multiple crises of the world.
