When the rotor is rotated around its own axis, static and dynamic unbalance in the rotor, static and dynamic bending, which are simple harmonic movements in nature, cause oscillating motion. This harmonic motion of the static and dynamic elasticities is detected by the respective sensors and converts the mechanical input of the harmonic motion proportionally to the electrical voltage output. These readings are used to calculate the current static and dynamic unbalance in the rotor using the calibration constants. Abstract
