Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of the analytical model, which allows to take into account the influence of real terrain reliefs on the quality of communication in the channels of the developed VHF systems, to make recommendations on the most rational modes of their work. It is concluded that the final area of the route have a significant effect on the formation of reflected rays and that the receiver can be recorded only rays that have formed in a specific reflection zone. The forms of reflection zones are determined, which depend on the distance between correspondents, antenna heights, transmitter power, receiver sensitivity and other characteristics of a radio communication system.
