Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether there is influence of working climate and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Pandan District Office, Central Tapanuli Regency by distributing questionnaires totaling 32 respondents to the research method using a quantitative approach.
The results showed that there was a positive relationship between work climate and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Pandan District Office, Central Tapanuli Regency and a correlation test found a value of 0.691 between work climate and employee performance in the moderate category and 0.798 between job satisfaction and employee performance in the high category. . While the coefficient of determination is known that (R square) is 0.637 which implies that the influence of the independent variables namely Work Climate and Job Satisfaction on the dependent variable namely Employee Performance is 63.7% and the remaining 36.3% is influenced by external factors independent variables (Work Climate and Job Satisfaction), with the following regression equation: Y=10.842 + 0.008X1 + 0.6842X2. From the results of the t-test in the study it is known that the t-count (X1) has no significant effect on employee performance and the t-count (X2) Job Satisfaction is 3.568> 2.06390, the Job Satisfaction variable (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, from the results of the F test, it is known that the calculated F value is 25.407> F table 3.42 and the significant F count is 0.000 <0.05 so that the hypothesis states that the working climate simultaneously influences employee performance at the Pandan District Office, Tapanuli Terngah Regency.
