Abstract

Currently, cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) generators are applied for biological and medical investigations. There are several methods of cold plasma formation. In this paper optimization of electrode system is performed for portable CAP generator producing pulsed corona discharge. The cylindrical ground electrode shape and needle tip-dielectric surface distance optimization were performed. The pulsed and voltage-current characteristics of discharge for optimal electrode systems are presented.
