Abstract

Effect of chicken manure and mineral fertilizer on Vigna radiata and Vigna unguiculata plants grown in lead contaminated soil were examined. Plants were grown in lead polluted soil, which is amended with different concentrations of chicken manure and mineral fertilizer (NPK). Accumulation of lead in the leaves of both Vigna species was reduced when chicken manure was added.
