Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the geometric structure of the surface of X5CrNi18‑10 steel sheet after cutting with a abrasive water-jet (AWJ) and a photon beam (laser). Both methods and the workpiece material were also described. Using the laser triangulation method, the cut surface texture was measured by opto-digital microscopy.
