The effectiveness of public administration and the activities of executive authorities in the digital economy: modern approaches and indicators

Abstract

The purpose of the scientific article: to study the problem of evaluating the effectiveness of the modern system of public administration in accordance with the current legislation in the Russian Federation in the conditions of digitalization of the economy; to formulate problems that prevent the achievement of certain methods of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of public authorities in the Russian Federation. Results and scientific novelty: the etymology and modern essence of the concepts of "efficiency", "management efficiency", "public administration efficiency" are analyzed. The author's definition of the concept "evaluation of the effectiveness of executive authorities" is formulated, a review of various approaches of domestic and foreign authors to assessing the effectiveness of public administration is carried out, regulatory legal acts regulating the system of evaluating the effectiveness of executive authorities in the Russian Federation in the conditions of digitalization of the economy are studied; the problems of assessing the modern system of public administration in the conditions of digitalization of the economy of the Russian Federation are formulated.
