The results of the study showed that young people experience violations of rights related to the social context in their life trajectories, such as insertion in child labor, socioeconomic difficulties, violence, access to drugs and involvement with offenses due to the need for access to subsistence and consumption property. Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the social context of youth who fulfilled socio-educative measures of confinement. Therefore, qualitative research was conducted with ten young people who were in fulfillment with socio-educative measures of confinement in the state of Paraíba.
