In The Inheritors , Eve Fairbanks sets out to explore post-apartheid South Africa. Rather than paying attention to the great women and men who have shaped the country, she focuses on the lives of three people “ we sometimes call ordinary, ” though Fairbanks quickly adds that Christo, Dipuo
