Abstract
We introduce a precise Tx-side non-linear distortion compensation scheme for higher-order PAM signals, and experimentally show its effectiveness in 28 GBaud PAM-8 and 40 GBaud THP(Tomlinson Harashima Precoding)-PAM6 signals with more than 2-dB power budget improvement.
