Key Establishment Scheme for Intra and Inter Cluster Communication in WSN

Abstract

Wireless sensor networks are playing a crucial role in each and every domain of society. They help to sustain the contexts according to our needs. The real time transmissions and wireless nature attracts for security breaches. Secure communication is the solution to prevent the communication attacks. This paper focuses on proposing an effective key establishment scheme for WSN, which supports both inter and intra cluster communications. The objective is to reduce the delay, storage and communication overhead while establishing the pair-wise keys for intra and inter cluster communication in WSN. The performance analysis of the proposed scheme w.r.t. existing schemes highlights the benefits of the proposed scheme.
