Abstract

In this paper we propose a power current amplifier implemented using a Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC) microcontroller and an H-Bridge. The prototype is fully integrated into Matlab/Simulink environment allowing changing PI current loop behavior in real-time. The experimental amplitude frequency response allows understanding how PI current loop tuning of the power amplifier impacts motor and model response.
