Abstract

Los metodos cooperativos paralelos parecen ser una buena herramienta para resolver problemas de optimizacion combinatoria de gran tamano y alta complejidad, no solo porque mejoran el factor de aceleracion en la busqueda de las soluciones, si no tambien porque alcanzan soluciones de muy alta calidad y comportamientos robustos. En este trabajo se tratan los fundamentos de la cooperacion partiendo de algunos ejemplos tomados de la naturaleza y su uso en el contexto de las heuristicas. Se hace un estudio de implementaciones cooperativas paralelas de diferentes metaheuristicas, haciendo enfasis en metodos cooperativos centralizados y descentralizados.
