Very Rare Salivary Gland Tumor: Follicular Variant of Acinic Cell Carcinoma

Abstract

Acinic cell carcinomas are very rare tumors. Patients seek medical advice usually for solitary mass in parotid or facial location. They are generally slow-growing, low malignant potential tumors and they usually have long survival periods. Surgical excision is adequate for treatment. Our case is follicular variant of acinic cell carcinoma which is the rarest histological form of this tumor.
