Considering external and internal impact in the pipelines, it is necessary to conduct regular diagnostical tests. The main reason for the damages of pipelines and equipment is the formation of tension concentration as a result of the effect of some loads on these devices. Due to this, the reliability of gas pipelines in the operation is defined by a criteria of strain-stress state occured on these lines. The methods of technical diagnostics based on the up-to-date technologies should be implemented for revealing probable damages within the pipelines and equipment as well. Smart-of-the-art software technologies for performing calculations have been used in the research surveys. Abstract
The paper reviews the necessity of using modern methods of diagnostics based on the up-to-date technologies for revealing probable damages in the pipelines and some equipment.
