Racismo en la imagen de los indígenas en los libros de texto gratuitos (2012-2015)

Abstract

This article focuses on the treatment of diversity in the Mexican school textbooks published by the Ministry of Education from 2012 to 2015. On the basis of the iconographic analysis of 522 visual representations of the indigenous population, we investigate the continuity of stereotypes and indicators of racism in the school textbooks.
