Unitary Sensor of Blu-Ray and DVD Pickup Device

Abstract

This study is to design a pickup head of Blu-ray and DVD device with one PDIC (phase detector integrated circuit). We use a rhomboid prism in parallel with two laser diodes. And HOEs (Holographic optical element) are used to reflect beam from different light sources and make them on the same PDIC.
